Silent Cry

This silence must be broken
The cry repressed heard
Expressing the grieves unknown

Our leaders in outfit well braid
Forgetting their role indeed pressing
Who will intervene in this pinch driven?

Into the hearts of the common folks derailed
With their pound of blood dripping
Into the systems they have much given
Without any benefits derived

Our legislators are indoors debating
For life pension greedily desired
They never really deserved such

Oh! What a misery have befallen our selection
Hope we will be wise enough to halt the disease dreaded
When they come around in the days of voting
Distributing rice and salts detrimental to our health

This silence must indeed be broken and our voices heard
